The story of the founder.

I grew up as an only child in a traditional nuclear family with a mother, father, and child. Yet, I never quite felt like I fit in, and the longing for siblings to mirror myself in was immense. When I discovered at the age of 30 that I was the result of a sperm donor conception, it sparked a deep personal journey. Through extensive DNA tests and genealogical research, I have spent oceans of time and resources trying to find my biological origins and half-siblings.

In 2008, I established a Facebook group where thousands of people have found assistance in connecting with their half-siblings and donors from Danish sperm banks. Now, I aim to create a closed online community to help even more. I genuinely believe that knowing one’s biological origins and having contact with half-siblings is invaluable for donor-conceived individuals, as it has personally had a tremendous positive impact on me.

My passion is to support donor-conceived individuals on their journey to connect with their biological family. The numerous thank-you letters I receive strengthen my conviction to continue my work and inspire me to strive for even better results in the future.

My deep commitment to helping donor-conceived individuals stems from my core values of openness, honesty, and the importance of family relationships. At the same time, facilitating these connections gives me a sense of purpose and meaning in life by helping my fellow human beings.

I facilitate communication between donor-conceived individuals, parents, and donors to allow them to share health information, see themselves reflected in each other, and build close family relationships that can last a lifetime. I believe that this contact has immense value for donors, donor-conceived individuals, and their parents.
